Seeking applications for a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Behavioral Epigenetics

Dear Colleagues,

Dalhousie University is seeking applications for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Behavioural Epigenetics. The approved advertisement is attached below. This position is contingent on the applicant being approved for a CRC Tier 2 award. The successful applicant will submit research proposals to the Canadian Foundation for Innovation for additional infrastructure support related to their research. Tier 2 Chairs, tenable for five years and renewable once, are for exceptional emerging researchers, acknowledged by their peers as having the potential to lead in their field. Chairholders are also eligible for infrastructure support from the Canada Foundation for Innovation to help acquire state-of-the-art equipment essential to their work.

Tier 2 nominees should:
* be excellent emerging researchers who have demonstrated particular research creativity;
* have demonstrated the potential to achieve international recognition in their fields in the next five to ten years;
* be proposing an original, innovative research program of high quality;
* as a chairholder, have the potential to attract excellent trainees, students and future researchers.
