ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PSYCHOLOGY: Iowa Wesleyan College, a four year liberal arts college in Mt. Pleasant, IA, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position in psychology to begin August 2011. Although the specialty area in psychology is open, this position would ideally suit a psychologist with expertise in experimental psychology. Individuals with interests in social, cognitive, or developmental psychology are especially encouraged to apply. Primary focus is on teaching undergraduate psychology courses that may include general psychology, statistics, and research methods along with other courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. Ph.D. is required. The college is seeking an individual with a strong commitment to teaching, assessing outcomes, mentoring and advising students, and participating in the college community.
